I am forever inspired by those who are passionate in their work. Angelia Phillips of flashPress, a writing colleague and friend, consistently writes book and product reviews in a manner that draws me in. In five years of friendship, she has never steered me wrong.

As such, when I read about Ange's interview with Mary, owner of Sixth Street Soapery, I high-tailed it to their website. I visited a few times, if truth be told... I was like a kid in a candy store and knew before long that I was way over my head. I determined how much I wanted to spend.

With the reasonable pricing of these soaps and bath products, I knew I would get a delightful variety.

My next stop was PayPal where I sent Ange my shopping money. I knew she planned to meet with Mary soon for a formal interview, and my order was in the best of hands.

A wonderful thing about indie business is the personal touch. I need people to communicate with, to clarify any questions I may have about the product or service. Once Ange virtually introduced me to Mary, I felt an instant connection.

Mary emailed me every step of the way--from making sure I was pleased with the product selection to a follow-up check in that all was well with my order. I know that much TLC was placed in the packaging of my items.

The icing on the cake (and I surely love the icing...) was a personal, handwritten note from Mary in the package...

"Greetings, Maria

Thank you so much for your order. I hope you enjoy these selections.
Blessings to you and yours,

Mary"

Check out some of the items available at Sixth Street Soapery. Yes, the comments are mine and I would highly recommend you add this website to your favorites file.

The Soap Next Door

As I love all things lavender, this may be my favorite item from my Sixth Street Soapery order - but the jury is still out.  The fragrant smell does wonders in the relaxation department.

Picture
Out of the Woods

An intoxicating combination of Amyris, Lavender and Cedarwood ... my husband has become an instant fan of Sixth Street Soapery.

Picture
Laven-Grass (The Original Power Couple)

To me there are no two better combinations than Lavender and Lemongrass... thank goodness Sixth Street Soapery is of the same persuasion.  Five stars and more please... ☺

Picture
Fancy Pants (Not your grandma's guest soap)

Isn't this title the best? Purchase this riot of aroma with Lavender, Palmarosa, Clary Sage, Geranium, Frankincense, and you may notice quite a line to your guest room!

Picture
Singin in the Shower (Where you sound best)

The name of this soap pulled me in.  After taking in the aromatic blend of Lavender, Tea Tree and Patchouli, my vocal cords are ready for a workout...in the shower, of course!

Picture
Mint to Be (Unless it's not....)

A dynamic blend of Peppermint and Rosemary gives me a pep to my step with a scent that has staying power.

Recyclable Soap Saver Net

Reasonable in cost... I love any excuse to keep these soaps around longer while giving plenty of lather with each use.

Picture
Lip Balm - Lavender and Tangerine

Sixth Street Soapery delivers their philosophy of 'Good - Clean - Fun' in this lip balm.  A wonderful and lip-smacking blend of Lavender and Tangerine, and an unlikely combination proving that opposites attract!

Picture
Bath Fizzies - Geranium
Pun intended - this product is 'the bomb'.  This fragrant ball takes its good sweet time fizzing out in the bath, which is an open invitation for relaxing after a long day
on your feet.

Canine Companion (Bow Chicka Wow Wow)

My canine companion, Andy, is intrigued by a bone he cannot eat. I love this excuse to make bath time fun. Wow x 2!

In fact, I caught Andy listening to some of his Uncle's music collection...

Hoping that you consider supporting wonderful indie businesses--both for you and your family.

Sixth Street Soapery is one of the finest examples I've encountered and I look forward to a long and lovely connection with Mary and her products.

Until next month, sending you hugs and peace,
