![]() Let the resurrection joy lift us from loneliness and weakness and despair to strength and beauty and happiness. Floyd W. Tomkins For me Easter is to the Spring season as Thanksgiving is to the Fall. Both of these days conjure feelings of gratitude and an opportunity for renewal. Both of these days remind me of my parents and other family and friends who are forever in my heart, as well as those I’m blessed to still have in my life. My brief Easter musings will be accompanied by some sentimental photographs and a couple songs that seem especially fitting. ![]() This picture of Mom and me was taken on Easter Sunday about fifty years ago. When I close my eyes, I am transported to a childhood of simplicity, happiness and unconditional love. Alvin was 8years-old and his sister, Aunt Baby, was three in this shot. (Above) It captures the wonder and partnership of these lovable Labradors. I’m reminded that we all have the capability of co-existing with peace and harmony. ![]() Aunt Baby is thoroughly immersed in these daffodils--a vision of renewal and innocence. ![]() These full and effusive peonies come from a plant that a dear friend gave us in memory of Geoff’s sister. What a glorious reminder of Dawn, who celebrated her birthday in April as well. Thanks to each of you for faithfully reading my musings all the year through. Hoping today is filled with peace, joy and happiness and spent with those who are meaningful to you.
Happy, blessed Easter to you, mar

Love these delightful photos of your family members and of course, the music selections are some of my favorites. The picture of you with your Mom is so reminiscent of my childhood with the Easter hat and the little purse. Cute! Hope you and yours have a blessed and Happy Easter.

Lovely, inspirational thoughts on this beautiful and sunny Easter Sunday, Maria. Cat's Morning is one of my favorites, and a perfect choice. Like you, music is part of me. I loved the photo of your Mum, and the reference to unconditional love...as it should be with us all. Alvin, Aunt Baby, Andy and Zoey, and the pink blooms in memory touch the heart and speak of love and hope. Happy Easter, dear Maria. :-)

So.....first of all, just because it's amusing to me. . .my phone pulled up an option for auto fill where my name goes. . ."I don't recall". . .and I wonder why and how it thinks that autofill response is an appropriate choice.
