![]() After publishing Inspiration Through The Dark Times and Inspiration Despite Self - Doubt over the last couple months, I’ve decided to continue on with this series in Inspiration Station - for a little while anyway…!! I'd love to hear if you have ideas for future installments, either via the comment section or email. For now, let’s look at how inspiration can play a role in our personal and professional lives - during periods of impatience, with situations, people or life in general. Once again, I am incorporating some related quotations and thought provoking melodies... “Impatience causes wise people to do foolish things.”- Janette Oke “What a tremendous sin impatience is, he thinks. It blinds us to the moment before us, and it is only when that moment has passed that we look back, and see it was full of treasures.”― Robert Jackson Bennett “What good has impatience ever brought? It has only served as the mother of mistakes and the father of irritation.” ― Steve Maraboli "Never allow impatience to prevent you for reaching your full potential.”― Lailah Gifty Akita “Don't you get too greedy, Death. You already have taken more than your fair share today. You can't have me yet.”― Stacey Lee “When we get impatient because something is taking too long, we should remember that Life waits on us a thousand times more than we wait on life.” ― Laura Teresa Marquez Whether you can directly relate or you know / love someone who is prone to impatience, may you find comfort, inspiration and hope from your visit here today.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by… feel free to share with others who may need an infusion of support, hope and relaxation as well. Until next time, wishing you peace and inspiration, mar

Enya's beautiful rendition of 'Only Time' is one of my favorites.

Listening to some haunting music. Impatiences? What is that? Rhetorical question of course. Inspiration is in short supply, so your efforts here are helping to supply the universe.

Ah, Sis, I appreciate your patience to wait until after a day's worth of NCAA Basketball Tourney finally finished up to allow me to comment. You know, there is a positive side to impatience. Ever have company coming that you can't wait to see and remember, "I have to clean the house before they get here!" Impatience can motivate us to complete those last minute tasks that we know must get done, but put off doing until their importance. Editing one's book is another one of those tasks. It's been stated by Noah Lukeman that one spends two to three times the amount of time on editing than writing. It's a draining task, but one's impatience at getting their work published motivates it getting done. As I've entered my later years, I no longer let the little things disrupt my patience as I once did, but I do have to admit to getting somewhat impatient at slow drivers at times, or those sitting at stoplights texting when the light is green. Of course, that's why cars have horns. They allow us to vent. lol Luv Ya, Sis!
