![]() “R. C. Rumple's sophomore novel, They Lurk in Summer, seamlessly weaves the ordinary milestones of four kids on summer vacation with issues of domestic violence, animal abandonment and a small town's stigma towards the mentally challenged. Holding my breath as this story unfolded, I eagerly swallowed this book over the course of two days. Some characters were instant 'love connections' while others brought out my more aggressive instincts. From fears to jeers to tears, this book took my emotions on a roller coaster from start to finish. Now for some cotton candy to settle my nerves!” Newest discovery... ![]() As a recent follower of Rolly A. Chabot's, Fireside with Rolly website, I have started checking out his impressive library of published books. I was drawn to Rolly’s “Quiet Reflection Series” first as it seemed to be a way of getting to know the story behind the scribe. My instincts were correct in that I devoured Book One "The Quiet" in three sittings. I am currently in the middle of Book Four “Many A Log” (out of Seven). "Like peeling an onion, the reader travels with Chabot on his journey of healing / meeting some of the extraordinary individuals who teach him life lessons along the way. "The "Quiet Reflection" series by Rolly A. Chabot is an odyssey of self - discovery, with the company of his faithful and plucky sidekick, Tannis." These books are filled with human decency, resiliency and inner strength that we all possess, if open to the possibilities. Sharpen those coloring pencils!![]() Sannel Larson is back, and I am loving it! I cherish my growing collection of ‘Adult’ Coloring Books from this creative and charming artist. Sannel has an intuitive gift of selecting subjects like Teatime ~ Whimsical Animals ~ The Power of Positivity that, combined with my coloring pencils, is a recipe for hours of stress reduction and relaxation. I am eagerly awaiting my autographed copy of Sannel’s fourth in her series, published in July. Looking forward to meeting, “30 unique, sweet images of Queen Sillisabeth, Queen Buzzabeth, Queen Elizabetzzer and their buzzing, bumbazing, working girls.” Sneak-peek of my favorite series![]() Some of you may have read Forty Six Hours that Mike Friedman was kind enough to allow me to share. I have it from a good authority that The Carriage Driver3 is thiiiiiiiiis close to publication. “Michael Friedman's "The Carriage Driver" series is mandated reading for anyone in search of escape and perspective regarding what lies in store for us after leaving this earthly domain. “While each chapter is a stand-alone story, the teamwork, intuition and unconditional devotion that Captain Griffin Chaffrey and his beloved horse, Nuelle, show in their sacred transport is a source of comfort and hope. “Whether a loyal follower or a newcomer to this third volume of The Carriage Driver series, prepare to become immersed in each journey.” Hoping you all found some great reading and gift ideas from this post. Just a reminder that you can find a complete list / links of each of these authors’ books on my I Recommend page. ShoutOutsUntil next month, may you find inspiration when you least expect it.
Hugs, mar

Hello mar, thank you for introducing me to a couple of more authors. Their books look interesting. And of course, I have my copy of Sannel's Busy Bees, as does my eight year old neighbor down the street. And it is also on my Christmas shopping list. Also, thank you for the shout out on The Carriage Driver No. 3. The series has taken me on many journeys.

Thank you so much for the review of my second effort. It's been a tough week, as you well know, and it's good to see your comments and praise. I appreciate all you do and only wish I could return the favor in some way. Definitely interested in the other authors works, too! Thank you, SIs!
