marcoujor: Doubles Music

"Memories are the key not to the past, but to the future." -- Corrie Ten Bloom

This week is filled with memories of Mom and Aunt Baby. Mom celebrated her 92nd birthday in heaven - along with Aunt Baby, who joined her five years ago today.

I can feel these gracious ladies and best of friends looking down approvingly on Andy and Miss Fannie.

This furry duo have quickly become joined at the hip - or, in this case, the branch ... :)

"It takes two to get one in trouble." -- Mae West

After playing solitaire in last week's musical selections, it seemed only fair to give doubles their due today.

Happy Wednesday Maria, Having thoughts of those we loved that have passed away can be sad sometimes, but thinking of two that loved each other in Heaven makes it a bit more peaceful.

I like your song choices that spread out over some decades. I hope you are having a great week Maria.
Love, Pam

This lovely duo makes my heart sing along with these great tunes. The fur babies truly do look like best of friends already. Listening to the music selections now. Perhaps your Mom has met Doris Day and is listening to her sing, too.
Love and hugs, Peg

Dear Peg,
You were absolutely right about Andy and Miss Fannie becoming the best of friends.
I love the idea of our ladies attending a heavenly concert by Doris Day.
Love you lots and hugs too, Maria

Maria.....The "Kids" look happy and healthy, playing their tug-O-war! You made the perfect match with those two! You had to know that Andy would make an awesome big brother to that darling little character, Miss Fanny! She sure can show her spunk!!
Thanks for the music as always. Great sounds. Looks like "Rest in Peace," is appropriate here.
Far too many of our own loved ones have gone before us. But then, we're sure they're still very much near us, especially in times of trouble & tears. They know how much we love and miss them, ...how very much we need them. So just as in life, they appear and perform their magic............Love & Hugs, Paula/Effer
OH! Speaking of "Effer".......I received a 3 sentence email from our Linda Sue!! Best 3 sentences I've read in months!!

I am thrilled that Linda wrote you. I know that must have meant the world to you.
Have a wonderful day.

Dear Maria,

Thank you for a lovely post and for some sweet music which I have enjoyed listening to for the past hour. I'm sure your Mom and Aunt Baby up in Heaven have been swinging their hips to those fine tunes, too. And I know in my heart of hearts that Andy and Miss Fannie are a match made in heaven! I can't think of two siblings better suited for each other. :)
I hope things are better for you and that you're having the time to have fun with your charming little furballs.
Love and hugs,
Sannel

Dearest Mar

My first thought when I saw 'Two is...' was "Two is company, three is a crowd."

I am sure you enjoy searching for music that goes with your golden thought of the week.

Big brother and little sister are obviously enjoying each other's company.

I can clearly see Ms Sammy and Aunt Baby smiling down on you and your loved-ones.

Lots of hugs to you from a troubled country down south.

Martie

Loved your music selections today, and thanks for the shoutout!

You have these dawgs well tagged, dear Vickster. They are, at least briefly, sleeping like angels.

Happy you enjoyed this week's music.

Have a lovely day. Love, mareer

Hey, hey! I'm a wee bit late in getting over here. Last week was graduation week at the school and it was incredibly busy. Whew! Hehe.
Your music selections are always so good! I love all these songs. You are a great DJ. Hehe. I have been thinking of you with regard to your mom and aunt. Sending you hugs of healing and light. I hope you've had a wonderful week. And look at your sweet puppies!!!! I just love dogs. And cats. And animals in general. I think they have an intelligence beyond what we humans can know. Sending you so much love, sweet friend! xoxo

Dear Cynthia,

It's never too late to stop by - the music is always on. I understand how busy and exciting graduation time is.

I totally agree with you about animals. They are beautiful and totally loving souls - even if a little naughty from time to time... :)

Love you and lots of hugs too, Maria
