![]() I was delighted to hear from Lois W. Stern, who is the inspiration behind the Tales2inspire book series. She continuously promotes the writers who have contributed stories. When Compassion Replaces Fear, the story I contributed to the Ruby Collection, will go live as the Inspiring Story of the Week on the Tales2Inspire website. It will also be featured in an upcoming Tales2Inspire newsletter.
Check out http://www.tales2inspire.com/gift for a free inspirational e-book. And thank you, dear Lois...! Something Old: I can feel Mom smiling from heaven as we listen to Jerry Lee Lewis - "woo, it feels good". Something New: "Grandma's Hands" was released by Bill Withers in 1971. Jose James has been on the musical scene since 2008 - winning me over with his recent rendition of this classic song. Something Borrowed: Thanks for this recommendation, dear Bob. Straight No Chaser provides a "straight shot" of harmony, energy and fun to me. I got lost for a few hours checking out the incredible range of these guys. Who knows - perhaps you will too ...? Something Blue: I'm Italian, Southern and a Blues-aholic, so Nina Simone is a staple in my musical diet. Now Dad is smiling down from heaven with these song lyrics. ShoutOutsUntil next "H" week, wishing you peace and music in your heart, mar

Maria I enjoyed your message and this music. I have always liked Nina Simone and several old fashioned singers. Have a great day!

Dear Mar, It's so good to see the 'Joyce' story again, I had forgotten about it, and if feels so relevant now to the work I.ve been doing the past 5/6 years. Thank you! And I'm happy to hear your story is being shared still. Makes me feel so proud of you! Thanks for the tunes. I am heading straight for the blues, as this is how I'm feeling...love to you and yours, Verlie

Maria, It's stories like this one that reconfirm I have been right on cue when I said you are an Angel on Earth. I can hear such heartwarming stories over & over to keep our spirits lifted, especially during times of strife.

Congrats on getting on the Tales2inspire as the Story of the Week! That's so exciting, sweet friend! I went over and liked the post and read the story. Do you still stay in touch with that patient you had? It sounds like although she had faced a lot in life, she overcame a lot, too.
