![]() "The world is exploding in emerald, sage, and lusty chartreuse - neon green with so much yellow in it. It is an explosive green that, if one could watch it moment by moment throughout the day, would grow in every dimension.” ― Amy Seidl Spring landed in our neck of the woods on March 20th - at least technically. Now more than midway through April, the frigid temps of winter are ancient history - replaced with balmy breezes, sunshine and every shade of green in the Crayola box. A Springer landed in our neck of the woods on April 20th - by the name of Miss Fannie. After some sniffing and nuzzling Andy, our 5-year old Lab, became a big brother - one of the finest in the land, I might add! Like her brother, Miss Fannie also loves music. With even more assist, my jukebox of tunes will never be unplugged. Enjoy these Spring - themed recommendations from my Springer! Oh sweet puppy! Miss Fannie is adorable, thanks so much for sharing her with us Mar. And the Simon and Garfunkel gave me shivers, I'd forgot about that April song. Happy to hear things are warming up for you, and your whole doggone family.

Spring is my favorite season. Here in Texas the brightest green leaves have popped out everywhere, the bluebonnets are in full bloom and spring is in the air. We're having torrential rain today and for the next few days. ("Though April showers, may come your way. . . They bring the flowers, that bloom in May. ♫")

Auw, Miss Fanny is soooo pretty and cuddly. I just knew Andy would love her instantly. At last he has a sister and friend.

Mr. Andy, Miss Fannie, and Mar the trio of music lovers strikes again. She is a beauty and will fit well into the mistral band.

Hi Maria, I didn't get an email this week, but saw you on Facebook, so I am a day late, better late than never. I agree that Spring is a wonderful season, especially if you live up north.

Thanks for finding this through FB, dear Pam. I'm afraid that Miss Fannie has her Mom a little distracted ... :)

I am really liking that "Deep Purple" song. Sometimes it's all too easy for me to look at an "old" song and think, hmm, it's probably not going to be as good as some of the more modern ones. And then I listen and think, "yeah, no wonder it's prevailed." I love the melody! I am also partial to wordless music - I often listen to epic-style music while driving to work to rev myself up, get inspired and feel the deep tones of the bass as well as the harmonics infusing into my soul. Oh that reminds me...I need to go update my playlists before heading out today. See what you did there? Hehe. I wish you a wonderful rest of your week! xoxo

I sure couldn't ! Here's to the new baby & many years of fun, love and companionship!! Andy must be thrilled! Hugs, Paula

Oh, Maria... Miss Fannie is so adorable. What a cutie pie. Many thanks for the photo of Andy's little sister, and this lineup of songs. Thank goodness spring has arrived with all of its blessings. :-)
